Anthony David Gonzalez played American football for 17 seasons, as a tight-end within the National Football League. He is one of the NFL's most efficient tight ends as well as the third most effective overall receiver, he has been ranked as the NFL's leading tight end in terms of receiving yards, receptions achieved, and so on.
Tony Gonzalez, a former Kansas City Chiefs All-Pro and Atlanta Falcons All-Pro Tight End is currently an FOX Sport Studio analyst. Gonzalez is with FOX NFL KICKOFF since the last year, hosts the host for the show. The show airs on Sunday at 11:15 am ET prior to FOX NFL SUNDAY.
Gonzalez was signed to a contract to the Falcons for two years and $14 million on March 15, 2013. This was despite being aware that Gonzalez had claimed he planned to retire following the 2013 NFL season. Randy Moss announced his retirement in 2012 as did Gonzalez (37 an age) spent last season as NFL's leading receiver.
